Getting to Kwame

Milne Bay Province is a 60 minute flight from Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea.

Arriving from Port Moresby, the capital Alotau is a brief 30 drive from the airport. From Alotau, Kwame is a further scenic 90-minute drive away.

Air and Road Transport Carriers

Air Niugini and PNG Air schedule daily services from Port Moresby PNG to Alotau (Gurney Airport).

Air Niugini, Qantas and Virgin schedule regular services into Port Moresby PNG from outside of PNG.

Visitor visas can be applied for online at the PNG Immigration and Citizenship Authority. See ica.gov.pg

Road transport is available to Kwame via East Cape bound vehicles from the Alotau main market. The public transport fare from Alotau to Kwame is K14.
