Our story
The Kwame agriculture land has been developed with a vanilla plantation, market gardens, coconuts, and a forestry program on the grasslands. This is all a sustainable organic development which provides affordable healthy food and economic opportunities.

The family at Kwame Village would like to extend hospitality to people wanting to experience a genuine taste of Papua New Guinea culture and hospitality in a pristine environment.
Sustainability at it's core
Kwame was founded on the principles of sustainability. A way to support locals with a source of income without interrupting their way of life.

Because of its remote location and to minimise its impact on the environment Kwames guesthouse amenities use gas and solar power. Rain water caught in tanks is used for drinking and cooking and water plumbed from a natural water hole is used for washing and cleaning.
